About 35 miles north of Valencia (Santa Clarita), exit Frazier Park/Mt. Pinos off ramp. This off ramp is about one-half mile past the Tejon summit. You will see the Flying J Truck Stop to your left. Turn left and proceed west on Frazier Mountain Park Road, go past Lake of the Woods (where road name changes to Cuddy Valley Road), go past Cuddy Valley, and Pinon Pines. Continue on Cuddy Valley Road to Mil Potrero Highway and turn right. At this juncture, if you miss your turn on Mil Portero Highway, Cuddy Valley Road becomes Mt. Pinos Road and will take you to the top of Mt. Pinos Mountain. If you come to a yellow forest snow gate, you need to turn around and head back to Mil Potrero Highway and turn left. Mil Potrero Highway is a very curvy mountain road for about six miles. It will lead directly into the heart of Pine Mountain Club. Turn left onto Freeman (which runs next to the Village Center) and then right onto Pine Valley to reach the Gazebo area. Signs will be posted for the Center of the World Festival.From Bakersfield, Northern CaliforniaTake Highway 99 or Interstate 5 South. Continue past the junction of Highway 99 and Interstate for about 15 miles going up the mountain past the Grapevine area. You will pass by the Lebec off ramp and go about three miles to the Frazier Park/Mt. Pinos off ramp. Turn right, and go west on Frazier Mountain Park Road. At Lake of the Woods, the road name changes to Cuddy Valley Road. Continue driving west; go past Cuddy Valley and Pinon Pines. Continue on Cuddy Valley Road to Mil Potrero Highway and turn right. Go about 35 miles and then turn east on Lockwood Valley Road for about 35 miles to Lake of the Woods junction. To the east lies Frazier Park, Lebec, and Gorman. Turn left on Cuddy Valley Road (Frazier Mountain Road), go west and pass through Cuddy Valley and Pinon Pines. Continue on Cuddy Valley Road to Mil Potrero Highway and turn right. At this juncture, if you miss your turn on Mil Potrero Highway, Cuddy Valley Road becomes Mt. Pinos Road and will take you to the top of Mt. Pinos Mountain.
