This is a People's Choice Award,

voted by the attending audence during Festival, August 15-17, 2014.

The theme is social issue topics, such as ecology, justice, peace, equality,

crime prevention, freedom of speech, etc.

We are seeking stories about humankind’s relationship with nature and each other,

either positive or negative,

to bring awareness of our ecological and social challenges.

To clarify some confusion over the "donation" request: As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, we are always seeking donations. However, there is not an entry fee for this competition. Donations are voluntary. All submissions are accepted without donations.
